  • Educate and encourage new and existing student organizations to seek additional supplementary sources of funding through grants, departmental funding, external resources, fundraising, etc. By fostering this mindset in collaboration with SGS, SILT and STEER team we can provide students with the best methods to make the maximum impact.

  • Improve and ensure that Officer Compliance Training and new organization Onboarding are as user friendly and practical as possible. This is key to providing students with the day-to-day operational knowledge required to successfully run an organization while still providing additional guides and resources for supplementary FAQs like the EagleSource funding guide, for example. This will limit unnecessary data feeding and provide concise and clear training.

  • Require Sexual Assault Peer Advocates (SAPA) training as well as a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) training for all College Council individuals who function are your representatives. Given the work we do and how involved we are in our interactions with many students from all different backgrounds and experiences, we must be equipped with the proper knowledge to handle situations and be the best and most welcoming versions of ourselves.

  • Increase accessibility and promotion of alumni networking events for ECAS students by engaging and working hand-in-hand with the Pathways Center. This will support the professional development of all members of the College, specifically aimed at providing support to majors who aren’t on any pre-professional tracks and humanities majors who traditionally haven’t been provided outlined steps or occasions to connect with alumni engaging in professions pertaining to fields of interest.

  • Implement a new program in conjunction with Reslife by introducing a club resources guide that RA’s and SA’s introduce their freshmen in floor meetings. This will promote equity across the board in learning about how to get involved and processes such that no one is advantaged.

Neha is one of the most supportive people I’ve met since coming to Emory. Not only does she do an incredible job at supporting her friends, she is also an amazing bio lab LA! Because she highly values education, she has been an exemplary LA for multiple semesters in a row, helping students both in and out of the classroom.
